Baby Tyler's Newborn shoot happened on that recent crazy Vancouver storm of a day a few weeks ago, but he was all snuggled up warm and cozy with his mommy and daddy at home in Whistler. How totally gorgeous is this little guy and how sweet is their 'first baby' Abby the chocolate lab, she is totally smitten with Tyler.

Johnstone Family Session - Vancouver Family Photographer - Cates Park
It was another gorgeous August morning when this very lovely family and I headed down to Cates Park in North Vancouver for their family photo session. We had a super fun adventure searching out baby crabs (kinda creepy little critters), throwing rocks into the water and sweet daughter Maelle loved sea shell collecting. Little Thomas (doesn't he have the most adorable smile?!) had his first ride on daddy's shoulders which was pretty awesome! A bit later we were joined by family pup Indie and cousins Mattea and baby Lynden, we had a bit of a dance party in the park, a snack and then tried for some shots of the kids looking 'proper' all together but of course I actually loved the crazy, full of character ones best :D
